What North Carolina Fans Need to Know for the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game

The North Carolina Tar Heels will open their 2016 football season in primetime against the Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta at the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic Game located in the Georgia Dome on September 3.

The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be televised nationally by ESPN.

Ticket Information

Tickets in the UNC allotment are currently SOLD OUT!  However, tickets are still available through third-party sites, such as MAB Tickets.

Clear Bag Policy

The Georgia Dome and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl are applying a new Clear Bag Policy for the Kickoff Game (as well as the FanZone Fan Festival).

Fans will be allowed to carry the following style and size bag, package, or container (from the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game website):

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, or 4.5” x 6.5,” can be taken into the stadium in addition to the clear plastic bag
